What is A/PIC and how was it started?
A/PIC stands for Asian/Pacific Islander
Caucus. We are a Caucus of DRUUMM (Diverse and Revolutionary Unitarian
Universalist Multicultural Ministries). The
first Asian/Pacific Islander UU gathering took place in Berkeley, California
during the weekend of February 28th through March 2nd, 2003 and began
to organize as a group. We came away with an acting Steering Committee
of seven from across the continent and a list of action items a mile long.
